San Luis Obispo Jail Telephones

Telephones are available to inmates for outgoing collect or automated advance pay calls only.    

To set up an automated advance pay account so that you can receive phone calls from an inmate at the jail you will need to call Global TelLink or GTL at 800-483-8314, available 24 hours a day.  To speak to a representative of GTL call 866-230-7761.

Staff is not allowed to take any messages over the phone or through the Reception window. Messages may be delivered during a regular visit, through an attorney or bail agent, or by mail correspondence.

Generally, phones are available for inmates to use between 8:00 AM. and 10:00 PM. Phone times may be restricted for various reasons throughout the day.
